Last of junkyard for the week

"If I were damned of body and soul,/ I know whose prayers would make me whole,/ Mother o' mine, O mother o' mine!" - Rudyard Kipling, an exert from "Mother o' Mine"

I brought this poem to my Men & Masculinity class(group). I like the idea of a mother's love and how it is portrayed in the writing. It stirs my emotions.

"To open one's spirit to what is going on now, and discover in that present process whatever structure it appears to have" -Carl Rogers on "the good life"

Rogers is one of my favorite psychologists to read. His simplistic style in conveying his rather complex ideas is admirable.
